If people actually watched his Ted Talk instead of picking and choosing sound bites from it, Bill explained that Africa aside the restbif the planet has a shrinking population. That the rest of the world needs to cut its carbon footprint to allow Africans a better quality of life. That we could benefit from having more children, and that Africa could benefit by lowering their average children per couple by 10-15% by having 6 kids on average instead of 7.
