It's actually worse than that. It'd be like bringing back the 1890s and 1880s, cause phone lines and radio equipment would be fried also.

You think everyone would be able to get that food and water? Just think about when we went into quarantine. People went into survival mode started hoarding everything. You wouldn't get any water either bc if theres no power the water pumps don't work. Imagine how many people will drink tainted water, get sick and die bc there's no emergency services.

80% of the population would be dead in the first year.

I thought we were talking bout the internet being out here...

And humans can and do survive without power, it'll be a hard drastic ass change for a developed country, but like i said we can survive without power. Other than extreme cold temps in certain places, or extreme heat Majority of the population isn't going to suddenly die within a year without power, i think a lot of deaths would come from civil unrests first if anything.
