NHL
MLB
NFL
NBA
In that order. The top 2 have less ref bullshyt and are harder to rig. NFL/NBA are subject to more.....high level "interference" (see Tuck Game, any tight Chiefs game, False Start Tush Push no calls, 2002 WCF, 2006 NBA Finals etc). MLB and NHL kinda are what they are. The leagues might have teams they prefer to win over others but they can't put their thumb on the scales as much.
NHL is #1, especially if you have a rooting interest. Each power play, hard check etc., gets the crowd rowdy. Watching in person, it's the best experience by a mile.
MLB...very tense with a lot of drama. Each pitch feels like a new hero will be cemented with a million dollar moment.
NFL is single elimination, so that brings extra drama. Plus it's football, nuff said.
NBA is entertaining but the tension doesn't feel quite as high tbh. Hard to describe but the other 3 do it better.
