Are we ready to admit that the experiment with family structure has failed?

In an effort to be nice and not make anyone feel bad we have normalized single/divorced parenting.

Now a 16 YO unwed mother has a baby shower. We are straight up celebrating it now.

My moms was impregnated by a man that didn't work and was already married (never got divorced, just up and left) so I am a product of this lifestyle. I am glad to exist.

Now we got baby mamas, side baby mamas, and Maury chicks that have no idea who's baby mama they are.

And all these kids know they are accidents and mistakes. Some are downright despised. That's why they so crazy. They are raising themselves in a world that has no love.

Can we admit that this family non structure is a huge mistake? Is it possible to turn the tide at this point?

Most people are lazy when it comes to parenting and thats what leads to problems. All these moms who have a carousel of dudes roaming through their houses. Makes their daughters into whores and makes their sons into playas. Then most of these moms don't even have the time to watch the lil hellions they raised up.

But i'm not totally against a modern family structure. Monogamy is played out. People need to put more effort into parenting. Moms can keep their personal lives outside of the home. Dads can remain consistent. Kids can remain supervised and you'll have a happy modern family unit.

i'd like to think that it's more complicated than that, at least for those who are struggling. it's a product of the "self-made" mentality
