He explained on Knuckleheads. When he first got a little money (I think Blue Chips money) he bought a car but had no idea what insurance was or that he needed it. The only insurance he could qualify for was General. He made a promise to endorse them later

I can believe it. Now I also believe that he has financial stake in The General even if he wouldn’t admit it.
Just like in a perfect world I could Ice-T uses Car Shield more than anybody else currently doing those commercials. Mainly because dude is into his cars and always has been, so it would make sense that they picked him off all people lol. The only thing stopping me from truly believing it is how low budget the commercials are and how expensive his rides are
