I am investing my money in Nigeria where I am from. I already bought 4 pieces of land and when my pops dies I will inherit some more. I plan on building guest houses on some of the land and renting it to foreigners at high prices. That is my real retirement plan.

This is sad.

I can't imagine being in my 60s with less than 10k in the bank... that would be a complete failure considering the kind of opportunities i have been granted.
I have way more than that saved up now.

And no this isn't some humble brag shyt, its just simple math.
A single man with no kids making decent money.... I have no excuse why I shouldn't be saving at least 50% of every paycheck.
When I went to Tulsa, I was basically living on less than 250 a week and just stacking the rest

I dont recommend overdoing it tho, I was pretty miserable as ya'll know

But everyone is different and i'm sure most people can put something away.
My goal this year was to save 50% of all my paychecks and before I knew it, I was like... shyt I could save 75% some months if I really wanted to
