Are we still pretending that not voting is going to solve our problems?

Perhaps the the most false talking point that I've seen when it comes to Black American politics is:
"The Democrats are just as bad, if not worse, than the Republicans."

This isn't even remotely close to true. Yes, it's true that the DNC takes our votes for granted and they could give a shyt less about us outside of that. Even with that, that still doesn't support the above statement. By no means am I advocating for us to be satisfied with the crumbs the DNC throws us. There's a way to deal with that situation, but that's a topic for another discussion.

As I've said many times before, my only gripes with Tariq have to do with his lack of political knowledge.
He likes to say "They think they can scare us with Trump. We'll survive Trump like everything else."
If you're not worried about Trump as the leader of the most powerful country on the planet, then you don't know enough.

The American political fiasco that has played out on the world stage due to COVID-19 proves my point. The Republicans should put you on high alert, if they dont already.

Instead of trying to convince mfs what kind of creatures you're dealing with, I can just point you to the news. They're letting it all hang out. After a couple weeks of shutdown, they literally went on TV and tried to convince Americans that dying of a potentially lethal virus....is not that bad. Especially if it will save the economy. It will be a noble sacrifice. Besides, mostly old folks are gonna die, and they'll understand. Hell, some will be happy to do it. They put beloved television personality Dr. Oz on TV to tell you to send your kids back to school. He said yes, 2-3% of them will die, but that's not so bad is it?

When that didn't quite work, we get this:
GOP: "Hey, you can go back outside now!":troll:
America: "Is it safe?":wtb:
GOP: "No. Not at all, but go 'head!":mjlit:

Instead of footing the bill for this crisis, these mfs literally want you to kill yourself. Again, they have literally appealed to American citizens to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the economy.
BTW, if you think forcing businesses to re-open will make everything magically go back to normal, it wont. It will make things worse than they are now. So not only is their plan sick and based in greed, it's a dumb ass plan that will fail miserably. Yo don't even need to be an economist to see that. So much for being the smartest guys in the room.

How does handing the the keys to all three branches of the government to them help us?

This past week on UrbanView, Clay Cane argued that Black folks are use to voting for imperfect/racist/unprincipled candidates...so to encourage folks to vote for Biden and defend him against sex assault allegations

Good luck "solving" your problems with such reasoning

What needs to be done about the Federal Reserve and the central bank system?
They need to be held accountable for their actions and need to stop printing fiat money and back our currency to certain commodities like gold and such. They've used over inflation to the point most people have to over work themselves to live a tolerable life because they've caused the basic cost of living to skyrocket over the past century. Def needs to be changes in their leadership.

So, therein lies the original question.
You sit out the vote, Biden loses.
The GOP gains more power.
How do we benefit?
