Kyrie Irving is better than any teammate Kobe ever had outside of Shaq. Kobe won 2 out of 3 with Pau Gasol who couldn't come close to dominating a game like Kyrie.

LeBron has no excuse. He's got the best PG and best one on one player in the NBA by his side in Kyrie.

Does LeBron have a HOF coach like phil a consistent double doubler like pau or anyone that can at least make the opposition work for their points like artest? It's not about one player going super saiyan this isn't dragonballz, it's the sum of all parts

If the 2008 - 2010 Lakers had a teammate for Kobe that could put up 40 points twice in one series, Boston would have gotten smoked. Imagine Rondo trying to guard Kyrie :dead: :dead: :dead:

This is always the Bron double standard. He can go out there and show his ass against teams like the Celtics, Indy ect and you guys will sing his praises when LeBrons team is clearly stacked compared to those teams, yet nobody ever mentions his team advantage against the East. But god forbid his opponent has more weapons and all the talking points are about how little help he has and trying to dimish what KD is doing

Imagine Kobe being able to rest half the game like LeBron does cause he got a nikka like Kyrie that could take an entire defense on by himself in isolation and score the ball.

Kobe had to be the Kyrie Irving and LeBron James of the Lakers from 2008-10. He was the one on one assassin as well as the facilitator.

And if the 2008-2010 Lakers had faced the 2013-2014 Spurs or the 2015-2017 Warriors in the Finals, THEY would have gotten smoked.

Can you imagine how exposed they would have been on defense? Fisher guarding Curry, Kobe dead chasing Klay around screens all day, Artest getting worked by Durant, Pau dragged all over the court by Draymond? Then the death lineup comes in?

Saying, "what if you just added Kyrie to the Lakers!" is some dumb shyt. Hell, add Kyrie to the Lakers and take off Pau, and that team wouldn't win. Kyrie/Kobe would have had a hell of a time coexisting on offense and the Lakers would have lost their dominance in the frontcourt.
