Are women funny?

I can watch a female comedian like say Roseanne Barr and be entertained but none has really made me bust out and laugh.

And I forget all their names now but back in the day when those black comedy shows would come on HBO many of the women were funny but most of them could not get away from telling sexual jokes which now kind of reminds me of black male comedians these days that solely seem to rely of telling sexual jokes more than anything.

It wasnt a reply simply to this thread but to the pattern of threads. You guys are misogynist as fukk and then you wonder why girls come on this site then you make threads about inviting them. Women are funny, I know alot of funny women. The question isnt are women funny but is your sense of humor too jaded and close minded to notice? How can you say women arent funny with all the funny ass stories people post here about women saying and doing some of the most ridiculous shyt? So thanks for backing up my main point.

I only notice bishes being funny when they're really not trying to be, thats when they say some funny sh1t. For the most part though, nah and I actually do like funny girls. I've met very few in my life time and I always think to myself 'wow, this bish is actually funny' and that's something I almost never think when it comes to women.

i've met a couple. some can get funny when they're clowning someone. but straight up telling a story in a funny way with good good comedic timing, wit and using the right words, i really can't remember. i don't think it 's because they can't be funny. i think in general they just aren't brought up to be funny.

or maybe they can tell funny stories between them, but when in front of guys their whole style switches up and they become unfunny.

I think I know one chick that has the "potential" to be funny and she's given me a few chortles here and there. But most aren't funny in the "Ha ha, nice joke. " way. A lot of their humor comes off forced and obnoxious so maybe that's why it's not appreciated, who knows. They do come off funnier on the internet though, but anyone can be funny behind text.
