Are women funny?

Women in general aren't funny.

Being funny is a social skill that you develop. A lot of the time the people that develop a sense of humor do so when they've been clowned at some point in life because of something (e.g. weight, sexual orientation, poverty, voice, hair color, height, etc.) There are very few comedians out there that look handsome/beautiful.

Men tend to crack jokes with each other and make fun of each other. We do it on one hand to toughen each other up and on the other hand because its fun to do .

Women aren't sarcastic with each other, and they don't playfully make fun of each other because a lot of the time they are more emotionally vulnerable than men are. They tend to take shyt very personally. With that said, I think there are definitely women out there that are funny. I actually know a girl that can make me laugh out loud because she's a great story teller and she knows how to use sarcasm effectively.

In general I'd say no.

That being said, my Mom is one of the funniest people I know. She definitely doesn't try to be though.
