They don't get approached as much because they don't want to be approached as much (especially the under 30 crowd).
Before social media and dating sites blew, chicks would be leaving the house hoping dudes spit at them. It was part of the ritual. I started noticing around 2004-2005 when chicks started looking at you funny if you hollered at them in public. It's like they are thinking "You have POF, you don't need to approach me while I'm grocery shopping"
If you spit at 35+ chicks you will see they will respond a lot different, even if they have a dude or are married. That's because that generation grew up on public approaching.
