let me put it like this, swedens women national team in soccer (ranked 6th in the world) were beaten by 3-0 against a club teams 16 year olds.

this is one of the best national teams in the world and they were beaten by 16 year olds they probably would've been beaten by 14 year olds too

and you're asking yourself if women basketball players are as fast as the westbrooks of the league,

no, but i've long said Maya Moore could play in the NBA. The only women who would have a chance in the league are ones who could play the point in some capacity. Players like Maya and Diana could probably match up speedwise with say a Mario Chalmers or Felton, but in no way are most wnba guards as fast as nba guards

Really, top level high school and AAU players are CLEARLY going to be quicker, faster, and more athletic than WNBA players.

I'd be surprised if they could compete PHYSICALLY with mid-tier high school basketball players.
