I consider myself generous. Everyone gets a min $100 for birthdays and Christmas. Weddings, I give $500 if it's just a friend and $1k if it's family. I do give to the homeless when I see one but I don't give them cash. I offer to buy them a meal at whatever restaurant is near by.
I feel like I'm inbetween. I dont mind spending money on people, "lending" friends money without expecting the money back in return.
But at the same time, i'm not very sentimental, so I hate buying people gifts for holidays etc. Its more the process of buying someone a gift that I hate, not the actual git buying itself.
Christmas time my family doesnt give me shyt and vice versa and I like it that way
I’m too generous with homeless dudes, tipping, family, friends etc. my wife had to get me to chill. If we’re homeboys I go out my way. I need to be more frugal. I’m supporting my daughter in college and son at private school. Smh
