I didn’t experience RTD in real time like that cause I was like 9 but I did the knowledge 3-4 years later when I was old enough. As a kid I was a grimy dirty lil nig so RTD was more my speed. Once I hit adulthood, early adulthood, I was much more LAD.

Oddly I’ve always been more Illmatic than IWW but that’s another discussion, lol

life after death. i used to think lad was the goat album but the last few time ive listened to it i realized it does have alot of filler but the highs are insanely high, like some of the best rap songs to ever be created. ready to die is a more cohesive album easily.for me mafioso rap is probably my favorite subgenre in rap.
