Are You A Weekly Haircut Guy?

I used to be. Then it was once every two weeks before Covid.


I started loccing up in Jan 2021 and I haven’t looked back. I was thinking of getting the lineup with the locs but I don’t have a barber I trust anymore. Plus, do I REALLY wanna do it? My locs look good without a lineup.

They charging like $30 for a line now?

Once a week is excessive. I go 2x a month to get my haircut. Rest of the time I use my own clippers and liner to get my self right.

Never have been and never will be. I'm not afraid of my hair and I understand how that fear/programming manifests as part of the "gotta look good always" that was drilled in us (which itself is flawed).

If you're not getting it touched at least once every two then you're either baldgang, locced up n rugged or just ugly.

A good cut makes me look like the nikka you terrified your wife sees at the gym.

If you're not in the game like that, do you but don't be surprised if your woman doesn't smell you for fish then either.

The ugly applies to me and it'll likely keep me out of the baldgang category

Same here. I've gotten semi decent enough at lining myself right that I can go about 3 weeks now between cuts. Plus it doesn't help that haircuts are now $20 more since I moved to a new state.

I was about to schedule an appointment for this weekend, but since I'm off all next week I think I'm going to wait.

I’ll say this the more weak your hairline is the more frequent you might want to get cut.

A good hairline can go weeks without being touched & still look decent.
