I went to visit my uncle today and he's so miserable. He just turned 46 and he's so depressed that his life didn't turn out how he planned. It just made me think about what life will be like when I get old.

I work in the medical field, so I see a lot of old people and even not so old people all fukked up and shyt. It scares me. Plus, I don't plan on ever having kids, so I'm worried about who will take care of me when I'm old.

it's not so much age as it is a lot of people don't take care of themselves. look at what people eat and drink. they don't work out or exercise, and wonder why they look flabby and sick at 35. age is nothing but a number. it's all about what you do with your body.

You right....BUT there are a lot of people who have gotten into accidents that are still fukked up because of it. And cancer can creep up on anybody at anytime.

I know it's inevitable to get old.....but I just don't want to be unable to care for myself, or in constant pain all day

46?!?!?! he still practically has a whole life ahead of him. he sounds like a bum, no offense. if you are 46 and crying about shyt, you're lazy and have no ambition. i know 40 year olds that are in law school right now, working on getting that lawyer money.

of definitely, which is why it's smart to eat good and take care of your body, so that you can defend against a lot of the stuff that creeps up. like you said, it's inevitable. we're all going to die at some point. just have to enjoy it while we're on this journey.
