He has kids that he's need to feed right now, breh can't afford to lose

Yes. I understand it. That's the sad part. 95% of people can't get out of that rat race. but no one should stop anyone from learning.

If he’s got the time to learn, here’s what I’d recommend:

  1. Learn the basics — There’s tons of free content on YouTube. Study in your free time and start understanding how the market works.

  2. Paper trade first — Don’t touch real money until you’ve been consistently profitable with paper trading for a couple of weeks.

  3. When going live, keep risk small — Only risk $50 per day. For example, if he buys 2 contracts at $100 each for a power hour reversal, and it drops to $150 total, he should cut it there. Wrong call? Move on. Don’t hold and eat the full $200 loss.

New traders should never go in big. That’s how accounts get blown up. Take it slow, learn the terms, understand the basics. I know a top trader who paper traded for like a year.

Think of this like a 7th grade basketball camp — you shouldn’t sign up if you are dribbling like a 7 year old girl.

I know yall feel option is a game you can't win. I get it. You will lose money if you don't know what you are doing.

Take a look at this SPY 1 min chart today.

SPY-2025-05-15-09-17-16.png

This is called a BREAK AND RETEST STRATEGY.

I marked the top and bottom of the 30-min opening range. Once price breaks that range and retests, that’s your signal — go calls or puts depending on the direction. You can see it broke the high just after 8am PST — clear confirmation for calls. If you caught that move, it was an easy 150%+ gainer.

I got in 585C at $2.14 on the breakout, and took full exit at $3.50. I scaled out along the way. That was a solid move — hit my daily goal, I’m done for the day.

Please don’t overthink this. Win rate on this setup is usually around 70-75%. Keep it simple. SIMPLE WINS. KISS — Keep It Simple, Stupid.

There’s a guy who trades this exact strategy — just different timeframes. He likes using premarket high/low and 5-min ORB (Opening Range Break).

If you’ve got any questions about anything, don’t hesitate to ask — seriously, no such thing as a stupid question. I’ll answer them here or over on my Discord.

I'm pounding the table here.

What happens after a nice run? It comes crashing down. This happens almost all the time EVERY DAY.

So after a nice run up we saw how the strength was weakening. look at the big red candle at 1030 ish. Look at how it went below 50ema(purple line at the top). Once it started breaking down I jumped on a PUT.

i called put at .55 cents. It ran up to 2.00.
You can make money trading. I'll help you.

good looks been trying to get back into after 4 years

It's never too late.

I created a nice strategy in 6certs.

What you need a strategy that is proven to work. If it doesn't work over and over then that's not a good strategy. a good strategy works 3 out of 4 times.
