I'm extremely cheap. I do this to save money for important things. I will be purchasing a house within a year and I'm 30
Nah. Im the guy that prefers quality or quantity when it comes to material items. I'd rather buy one thing that's $100 and have it last year's than buy a cheaper version that's $25 but only lasts a few weeks or months. (Like good quality headphones)
But at the same time... I understand how important money is and I always try to save and keep reminding myself what is needed and what is just desired

Yeah I'm cheap, I have nice thing but I buy them on sale.
The only time being cheap backfires on you, is when you try to be cut coners with fixing thing. Finding a cheap plumber, mechanic, contractor, contractor, electrician, that type of stuff always backfires on you. But also you do not want to over pay, because you should vet people also.

I look for bargains and try to never pay full price.
Frugal as hell. Nothing wrong to me with using a coupon discount code promo code or whatever. I try to limit my intake on fast food as well. So I don't think I'm to bad. I could see if someone is saving and using the ketchup packages out of a restaurant or using the soap from motels/hotels as their only source of hygiene.
