Two toddlers and my wife, sister in law, & mother in law usually travel with us so we carry the entire house everywhere we go :beli:

i was for a while. i was living in uk/germany and germany/romania. had stuff on both sides so only needed to travel with hand luggage most of the time.

checking a bag is nice, don't have to worry about carrying it around and you can pack stuff like hennessey white and a big ass bottle of lotion in it lol. but most of my trips are usually the pack light type so, not necessary.

I use to be one them dudes who brings their whole wardrobe on a week long trip :dead:
Last couple times I've just been doing a carry on and it's way better. Zero anxiety crossing your fingers your luggage ain't lost or stolen from. And you shave like 30-1hour off your time being able to walk right out the door
Unless I'm bringing "treats" from LA, Denver, or Vegas I'll probably rock out with the carry on going forward if possible

Never flown but damn y’all make it sound hassling
Don’t let these comments put you off flying or traveling. The vast majority of people(think 95%) are not gonna have luggage issues unless it’s an unusual circumstance like weather, plane and staffing issues. The 5% who do just make the most noise. But yes, delayed/lost luggage sucks.
