Where does having pride in being American get black folks

nikkas gon call me a c00n for it....but yeah. I love living in America and can't really see myself living somewhere else. I'm not proud of the atrocities and evils America has comitted and been responsible for around the world though. But I'm grateful for the opportunities and things this country has. Most of the world has it a lot worse than us.

I am proud of every individual before me paving the way for blacks to move upward in this chaotic country. I am proud of our legacy and the amount of innovation that blacks have contribute to this land. I am proud of our struggle and look forward to our future.
