I actually had to deal with a sexual harassment case today. She said he’d been making inappropriate comments to her for 2 months and is a lesbian for the past 20yrs. He said “man I been talking like that to her for 4 months now and she’s been saying the same things to me for just as long.” She said he’s lying and messy. He said everything was cool until 2wks ago when some work shyt went down and people got written up. Then she stopped engaging with him so he left it alone.

She claimed to have made complaints to co workers for several months, I call the two coworkers on the spot and ask “when did she talk to you about James?” They both said last week. I was inclined to believe her until she fukked that part up. So basically her and James been talking to each other regularly and after she got in trouble over some work shyt and thought James was snitching, she orchestrated this shyt. If he was speaking inappropriate to you, why not say something then instead of 2 months after? Why is he admitting that he does talk sexually but it’s mutual and it’s been going on for 4 months, not 2. Why did you lie and say you told coworkers months ago but it was just last week before the holiday? Sounds like a lovers spat that got petty.

To cover the company for liability, I wrote them both up. James for admitting fraternizing and her for fraternizing as well. Won’t say he didnt harass her but I don’t believe it because she lied about who she told and when for sure and I believe James that they both were involved. They fraternized and it went bad.

I was pretty sure that this was going to be the end result of the Weinstein allegations. I think most of the men with power and resources won't have much happen to them except perhaps in the most extreme cases whereas regular folks will definitely be punished. Unfortunately that's how the world works so you have to act accordingly. Being a black male I have always tried to make sure I conducted myself appropriately on the job at all times even if I was fairly sure a female co-worker was attracted to me.
