Microsoft teams is trash tho. Have to use it for a contract project and I dont even open it anymore. I rather call in via conference call than to deal with that mess.

I mean, lets keep it a buck. Linux is basically one of those radio kits that you would see from Radio Shack that folks think they are doing shyt, but in reality its just a hobby OS. Its one of those afternoon "I'm bored" projects where you do a dual boot and realize that this shyt is so bare bones that it's not even funny. Beyond security, it's really just a OS that's good for Thrift store computers and community centers since it's free and close to accessible.

Gaming wise, Linux covers the basics that will kill boredom:

  • Steam with a portion of games that are normally played (Terreria)
  • Minecraft
  • Some MMOs (Runescape :ld:)
  • Retro games
  • etc
The fact that most of those pencil neck geeks still bytching about development kills me when there's a "hub" for developed software already made for Linux . Sorry 80 percent of them shyts sucks but welcome to the Homebrew world.

I run Ubuntu , the appeal I have for Linux is cuz it’s different and highly customizable

I wouldn’t touch MacOS ever

I guess. We'll see though. I went from Windows 7 to Windows 10, so Windows 11 might be a skip for me.

I have no problem with Win 11 and have installed it on my 2 x Laptops and desktop even though they shouldn't be able to run it with 7th and 8th Gen processors.

Fukked around and installed it on an old Pentium 4 desktop just to see if it'd work.

LOL @ 'hardware check'.

Gotta edit a couple files in the .ISO's registry that tell the installer to not even check the hardware.

Or

Go here.....

Not much difference in performance or stability between 10 and 11. 11 is a lot more customizable, though.

I've been using it since the first dev version last year, and I have the latest beta version on my two Ryzen laptops (one of them is dual-booting Ubuntu).

Windows 11 alone is passable, but it's not bad at all with some third party software e.g., WinLaunch, StartAllBack, ModernFlyouts, Rainmeter/Droptop, QuickLook, etc. I'd use Ubuntu as my main OS but I need some Windows software for my daily work.
