What i will say is cultivate, clean boundaries, levity, and placidity.....resentment/grudges will cease to be a thing you do. Devoting too much energy to understanding it, still feeds it. Understanding resentment is only necessary in so far as understanding your own shortcomings.
Resentment basically comes from repeatedly asking something to become different from itself, rather than
- avoiding it exactly as it is, or
- managing it exactly as it is, or
- accepting it exactly as it is
