You guys really need to learn that the ballot has more than president on them and a lot of times there are things on there that will affect your life locally on a day to day basis than the president.

Black people don't vote enough actually. They only vote in the sexy four year election but let right wing shytheads take over their local government like the school board and legislature passing state laws every other four because they never vote in midterm elections.

You can vote stein or write in Larry Holmes for president but still vote on the other items. You can look up your sample ballot online by doing a google search for sample ballot and your city and district.

There are more than 2 candidates running... instead of throwing your vote away by not voting, why not put it towards building a worthwhile alternative?

Once again I don't like any of the presidential candidates, I will vote for local and state, but not in the president race

get this white supremacist rehtoric the fukk out of here. People don't vote PERIOD, of all races. The people that vote will vote

Black people need to vote in blocks, not just to vote. we need a collective agenda formed by a collective ideology. Strategic voting.

Grass roots local voting with a shared purpose. otherwise you get black people to vote for a DA that lets peter liang free for killing black people

Black people could really learn from the mormons this election. Especially in high black population areas.

The mormons in UTah said they don't like either candidate and collectively worked together to vote for mcmullan. Now granted mcmullan isn't win the presidency but it put the fear of god or the hope in the campaigns to start paying attention to them. Hillary is now running a campaign there and the republicans are afraid they are going to lose the state.

At the very least, while they won't get him the White House, these people who took them for granted before now have to pay attention and actually fear that the status quo will change.

Imagine if say all the black people in This southern states started to this. :wow::whoo:

It's about getting different ideas into the political discourse and using election cycles as a method of reaching and engaging people to pull them into social movements.

Having an electoral alternative aids in those efforts described above.
