When they can no longer work or have to retire, are they gonna move in with u and you take care of them?

Made a thread on this awhile back and I fear it’s a very real possibility :francis:

Love my parents and all, but I can’t go one week without getting hit up for 500 here, 300 there etc. and I know they basically have nothing saved for retirement so I could only imagine what the next 10+ yrs is gonna look like when they become senior citizens… :francis:

my mom has a great pension after years of working for the government.

Right out of college I had to help my folks out for a number of years. Helped with the mortgage and even helped pay for my sister's college.

It set me back way into my 30s but now their home is paid off and my sister is a doctor. Sometimes it just be like that

Graduated college back in 2019.

Basically, it looking like I am. Whenever something breaks (toilet, AC, Shower, appliances, “emergencies) I’m the one getting hit up.

they don’t really have a savings cuz they live check to check. Mom retired in 2016. Dad, :hubie:. It’s a headache at times
