To a certain extent it would but only if i knew it was going to be a busy Monday or when i got back from vacation. Now with WFH, i have way more free time to get things done so i really do not have that anymore.

I look forward to getting back to work after a good little vacation. I love my job so it's never a dreadful thought of getting back to it. I did used to hate coming back from "leave" when I was in the Marines, especially those first two homesick yrs. I'd visit my 1st daughter back in Texas and be all fukked up for a few days when I got back to Camp Pendleton. On my flight back I would be on the verge of tears.

It’s time for a new job if that’s the feelings you have on your off days

Yup (and I work remote).

However, to counteract that, I think about the weekend starting on Thursday.

Tuesday is pointless.

I think it depends on the job and the amount of responsibility you have.

If you do the same thing day in/day out and you don’t really have responsibility for anything on a long term basis you really don’t have anything to think about except “damn I gotta go in and push this button all day”

But if you have projects that extend for months, with deadlines and expected results you’re probably more likely to be thinking about it on your time off.
