Not surprised that this is happening. This generation of White women are gentrifying Black neighborhoods all over the US. The aggressive catcalling that was tolerated when these hoods were all Black won't be tolerated as the demographics of these neighborhoods change. I see it all the time on the message boards of the neighborhood watch websites of the cacs in my area who have moved in in recent years complaining about the cat calls, loitering, liquor stores, check cashing places...you name it. And they're vowing to put an end to it. All of it.

well obviously once they gentrify those areas the Liqour stores, check cashing places will go away, becuz tha new demographic has no need for those services

The neighborhood is still in that transitory phase where a few of the scragglers and the establishments that cater to them are still holding on. But yeah, the aggresiive cat callers are on their way out of here. White folks are cleaning house.
