She's not wrong. Why would she want to be known as Big Sean's ex? She's way more famous than him anyway.

This isn't Naya Rivera we're talking about.
Most dont refer to her as his ex, she's got more of a following than him cause she's a Nickelodeon star anyway. Yeah interviewers are asking now cause its current. In a few months (thats reaching ) no one will care. As far as the double standards, yeah we know they exist, thanks for the breaking news Arianna.

Using feminism to cover up the fact that she did some thot ish by using Big Sean's friend to make him jealous.

And no one forced her to get in a relationship she wanted be with him for whatever reason (probably attention) and when things didn't go the way she thought they would (or when she had no further use for him) she bailed on him but it backfired because people called her out for her brat like behavior as a result.

I'm so tired of these female artists like Beyonce and Taylor Swift complaining about non existent misogyny. Especially when alot if not all of there music is the product of male producers and songwriters.

Tayor and Ariana come from rich fathers who invested in their careers from jump. Plus without Scott Borchetta, Nathan Chapman, Max Martin, Babyface, Harmony Samuels, Scooter Braun & Dan Schneider no one would know or care who these two are.

And Beyonce's father while not rich (then) worked tirelessly to help her fulfill her dream and ultimately ushered her to super stardom and screwed numerous male (and female) songwriters out of full credit in order to make her look like a legitimate singer-songwriter.

How about for their next albums instead of calling oppressive males like Max Martin and Timbaland why don't they just work with Linda Perry, Missy Elliott and the slew of other female producers that they and other women in the industry avoid like the plague.

*looks to see if it's after 12 yet*

*takes sip of this Henn*

But uhhhh:

- you are Big Sean's ex, doe.
- if you wanna be know for something besides what you're know for, how about you do something else bigger than that?
- how you gonna say you realized you don't need anyone by your side, then in the next breath quote Gloria Steinem about how you sister need to stick together?
How dat do?
- semi-sidebar: does she even have any solo hits? I'm not really up on her discography, but all the songs of hers that came to mind
have somebody featured on them. If she's a musician who can't even make a song by herself, how am I supposed to buy this new
"I stand on my own" kick?

Naw. I ain't buyin' what she sellin',
and I don't believe what she tellin'.

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
100%, though?
Alright maybe like 83%.

Bottom line, women are pigeonholed and marginalized in the media, and this shyt is a perfect example. This thread only further makes her point... Half the nikkas in here basically said "shut up bytch swallow". But then will be the first ones screaming about the oppression of white supremacy :skip:

You have to be dense to believe there isn't a double standard.
No one remotely suggested that there wasn't so I fail to see why you posted this. And you'd have to be dense not to believe a double standard exists for both men and women.

Not because she is a woman, but because she is Ariana Grande. There's a significant difference. :skip:

And there is no active systemic machine that has been placed to ensure she does not find success that she has to overcome like it is for African Americans. At most it is a personal decision made by the powers that be but there is no fine tuned mechanism that is self sustaining as such with overcoming white supremacy. This is the same girl who made songs about getting head and selling sex that is talking to you about sexism and misogyny.
