And stop doing so much of that niche hood comedy if you want mass appeal. And he had mass appeal early in his career with Mad TV and Jeremy Maguire.

But he wants to dwell in this space where he's speaking with low level podcasters about rap drama.
This dude was like 10 years ahead of Bill Burr in comedy (in terms of when he popped on the national scene) in the 90s and has been surpassed by just about everyone in the game.

I mean to be fair, maybe Spears' comedy just isn't that good or nuanced but that's on him. He needs to show growth as a comedian.

He has the talent. But everything about Aries Spears from his brand of comedy to his look to his attitude screams LAZINESS

Dude is pushing 50 but could easily attempt to get his shyt together and be a poor man’s Tracy Morgan who can do impressions.

But you can tell he’s defeated and bitter and probably wakes up, looks in the mirror and is like “fukk it” before he spends the day eating garbage. He looks/acts washed and there’s clearly a dark side that makes it seem like his good side is non existent

He won’t be even a C list cat in Hollywood but he could be outchea hustling up appearances if he wants to. Michael Blackson is popular as fukk for someone who is nowhere near on the top tier of comedian and that dude is always working and making tons of $. You can tell he’s enjoying himself plus he knows his lane with his social media audience.
