I think it was technically a qualified immunity case (:pacspit:) but recording the police was the cause. Some dude was thretened by police in 2014 for daring to record cops beating a man.

Well the hope here is that they wouldn’t bring a judgement because it was a personal law suit…. A bill of law is a different scenario, what’s also good here is that they simply didn’t bring a judgment…rather than judging against the filming….,but whether a right is being violated will have to be determined here

I rock a bodycam. You don't have to look stupid holding your phone up. shyt just record the video and hold it to your ear like your making a call. If they are " busy" then they won't be harassing you about having a cellphone out while they are working.

In any case it's better to end up with a misdemeanor than end up dead with no footage, not every agency in America utilizes bodycams.
