story is completely secondary to everything in AC
its good. but they aren't telling a story at all and you canonically don't give a fukk either

The only mech games with compelling story are front mission games. Armored core is about combat and gran turismo type customization

I'll warn u tho it's somewhat of a steep learning curve if it's ur first mech game, but the game does a great job of weening u into it. I'd never played a AC game b4 this one

Might have to run it back with the coral shyt. Your first NG+ you damn near unstoppable
I'm talking moreso about the mechanics of the game and how to control the mech, it's alot to grasp in the beginning. This game is still hard tho, but I think the skill check walls show up at the appropriate times to test your determination to finish it.
Gonna be a new patch dropping tomorrow that has new PVP maps, Ranked matchmaking, and AC parts
