They will pressure the civilian prosecutors to max him the whole way if he, somehow, isn’t able to face the UCMJ. They will ask to take him so he can do multiple life sentences either at ft Lewis or at Leavenworth.

The drunkenness is never allowed as an excuse in the active Army. There are multiple layers of law and regulation prohibiting him from getting so drunk that he has no control of his actions. Don’t even get started how badly they will bury your life if you somehow hurt someone or commit a crime while intoxicated.

This particular coward was fukked up before he even joined. It’s wild what people can hide until alcohol relaxes their inhibitions smh.

He's Army Ranger. They're a special operation forces. They don't just let anyone in that.




The regular army, however, has low standards. They let any dikkhead in.

They will absolutely let people like that in. People who do these kinds of things don’t really wear it on their sleeve and the emotional impulses are relatively easy to hide. It’s the drinking and drug use that allows the inhibitions to fall away. Intoxicated, they are able to lash out/act on urges without the burden of considering consequences, even when there are definitely going to be some consequences.

Hes regiment bruh. He has probably been on a lot of Operations.Or at the very least just getting done with his training pipeline (which is ridiculously hard).

He cleared selection in 2020. Unless 2nd Bat was in work up when he got assigned he probably doesn't have a combat deployment.

Also this doesnt account for unit culture as well. Lewis is a VERY active base what with the special operations and infantry units assigned. Very high ops tempo with a lot of time spent in Yakima for field training. Its very stressful and couple that with the Armys existing propensity for bullshyt and well people look for bad ways to cope
