It allowed me to do a "reset" on my life. It made me a better person & I have life long friends because of it. I have friends in Texas, LA, Boston, Chicago and fukkin Montana I can call right now & say I'm on the way & they'll welcome me in like a family member.

No, I haven't been indoctrinated. I teach now & I don't stand for the pledge at school in the mornings. I don't think America is the greatest country (maybe monetary wise it is, but folks overseas are much happier with less). I apply some lessons from the military to everyday life..I don't take shyt from anyone & I value being on time & hard work, but I'm not a military or America nut. They don't even train us to be super American or anything like that.

And this after I choose not to join myself because it just didn't sit right with me having giving up 4 years of freedom to be stuck getting yelled at, following commands, get used, then thrown away back in the states like you never part of anything with no support either you get damaged or not....
