ELEVATING to HIGHER LEVELS with POSITIVE VIBES ✨
So this one is inspired by my last thread between Denzel and Wesley. So I decided to make one about two of the biggest stars of the '80s
.
Both of these guys were at the height of their careers during the 80s, and had somewhat of a rivalry over who was the better actor and box office hitmaker.
In the 80s, Stallone was already on the rise in popularity due to his portrayal of Rocky Balboa gained larger fame thanks in part to the hit sequels, but also became more popular from playing arguably and shockingly his most memorable character as John Rambo. He also starred in a few cheesy yet cult favorites such as Nighthawks, Cobra, Lockup, and Tango & Cash but still disappointed fans with a few duds.
Whereas with Arnold, he had Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, Commando, Raw Deal, and Predator under his belt, which helped make him one of Hollywood's top actors of the '80s. He also laid some goose eggs during the 80s with a few not-so-stellar action and fantasy flicks. Besides his roles as The Terminator and maybe Dutch from Predator, his '80s characters are not as memorable as Stallone's.
Ironically, both of them had somewhat of a down period during the '90s with a hit or two in between, but they never matched the success of the '80s.
