what a waste of talent, he should be having a season like gooden or randy johnson

Eh, just because he is a dominant closer does not mean he will be a successful starter.. Theres a difference between having to get 3 to 6 outs and facing batters multiple times through the lineup

He should def get a chance to start.. But I wouldnt be suprised if he turns out to be a better closer than starter :jawalrus:

Strasy or Gio

Gio and Strat have almost identical lines.

Gio has pitched 66.1 Innings
84 Strike Outs
2.31 ERA
1.03 WHIP
8 Quality starts.

Strat has 65.0 Innings
79 Strike outs
2.35 ERA
1.05 WHIP
8 Quality starts

Like the other dude mentioned, James McDonald needs to be thrown in there too.

McDonald has pitched 71.1 Innings
71 Strike Outs
2.14 ERA
0.95 WHIP
8 Quality starts.

Heck, even Beachy. Hes got a sub 2 ERA and a sub 1 WHIP with 8 quality starts. His K ratio is just lower than these 3, something like only 50 ish K's I think.

Uptown
Make him start & only pitch the 1st inning.

11 pitches max, 3 K's just for show to end the 1st. :heh:

Na, you need him in there to close. Hope he gets the chance to...gonna be ill.

:what: absurd. the jays need to push hard for the next intl pitcher man,

We already did, breh :win:

RHP Adonys Cardona

Build: 6’1″ 180 lbs – DOB: 16 Jan ’94 – From: La Sabana,Venezuela – Bats Right, Throws Right

Signed for: $2.8 million

Jersey: #21

Ranked: Pre-2012 Jays Journal Top 50 Blue Jays Prospect:

Adonis has a powerful frame and awesome velocity for his age as he already hits 93 MPH at only 16 years old. Signing was a record for a Venezuelan, with the previous being $2 million for SD pitcher Adys Portillo. Another example of the shift to top-level players, Adonis did make the “Top 15 All Time International Signings” put out by Baseball America (the only Jays prospect to make the list), ranking 4th overall only behind C Gary Sanchez (NYY) $3m, SS Miguel Sano (MIN) $3.15m, and Michael Ynoa (OAK) $4.25m. A great article outlining the Jays philosophy and shift can be found here.

I have Dempster on my fantasy team. Hate the Cubs (besides being a Cards fan) for them not giving him enough run support. I need those wins.

They should both be there, without question.

Lee shouldn't have a problem being a former Cy Young winner...tThe problem for Dempster will be that the team is TERRIBLE and Casto will almost surely be the team's auto-rep.

James McDonald might face the same problem with McCutchen, but he'll probably be in anyway:manny:
