Around what age did you start really getting into to rap and hip hop???

One of the biggest "hip hop heads" I know that's my age said that he started listening to the music at 17 years old, so roughly 5 years ago. If you didn't know ol' boy you'd think he was listening to this shyt from the womb. He goes all the way back too, like, kinda making up for lost time. Nothing wrong with it, just saying



For me, I've listened it mostly my whole life and I've never been told what I could and couldn't listen to. It's funny because I kinda started to move a little bit away from it and branched out around the same time he started really getting into it. I'm still a fan, but I my man goes hard, like forreal

When I was 11 years old, GRODT was the first Hip Hop album I ever bought back in 03.

I remember hearing HH as early as 6-7 years old (we were in New Rochelle at the time -left in 88- and my older cousin was listening to "It takes two" all day long lol) but I'd say I really got into it around 12-13 years old
