Nahhhhh breh Wishbone had some excellent retellings of classics like Tom Sawyer and Count Of Monte Cristo.

Also zoobomafoo was underrated too.

One cartoon thats legit restoring the feeling right now is Craig Of The Creek. It is hands down the BEST children’s program airing today.

As a 90’s/2K’s kid, I give Craig of the Creek a major stamp of approval :salute: I LOVE that show and it makes me happy that my lil brother enjoys it. Even though I prefer the cartoons I grew up, I gotta admit that one thing this current generation of cartoons got going on better than ours is that greater display of diverse racial/cultural/ethnic representation….shyt’s a far cry from the typical WASP-y suburban male white kid(s) trope of the 90’s and 2K’s. Granted, we had the likes of Hey Arnold, The Powerpuff Girls, Rocket Power, Static Shock, ATLA, The Proud Family, Arthur, Dragon Tales, etc. to help open the doors to that level of representation in children, tween, and young teenage animated programming, but the 2010’s to now have definitely taken it to new heights and I can’t be mad at that. My whole family household is an almost spitting image of Craig’s family kinda :wow:

Bro I look FORWARD to watching Craig Of The Creek with my daughter every weekend. That and Doc Mcstuffins. But Craig Of The Creek is special because ai feel like it could absolutely have held its own against the Hey Arnold’s, Ahhh Real Monsters, Doug and Rugrats juggernauts of the 90’s. The writing is THAT well done.

Also their doing a spin off of Craig’s younger sister too

I honestly feel that way about it too. Hell, even tho it has some agenda shyt up in there, I’d even throw in Steven Universe among the best of them from our generation too.

RE: Spin-off - Ohh shyt! Are you serious!? :gladbron:

A lot of people are upset by DW becoming a traffic cop, but it does make storyline sense if you go by previous episodes of her character. The finale sucks though in that it leaves a lot of characters fate in question, but you can't devote time to them all I guess.
