Breh, if you read historical documents, like shyt written from a slave master's perspective, they were obsessed with black women's bodies, except they regarded them as savages so they couldn't outright show their lust toward black women. So they made fun of them, turned them into sideshows, and then had their own women wear dresses with pronounced posteriors. :mjpls:

:dahell:

Y'all be typin' ish and not knowing wth you're talking about. White women wore those shyts to make their waists look skinnier in contrast, not to make their butt look bigger, wayyyyyyyy before Baartman even was thought of. Why would someone wear a completely over-exaggerated dome, in hopes of making their butt look bigger, when it's obviously fake? :dahell:

Sara Baartman was paraded around as a fool. Fast forward 20th century and now we got black dudes doin' the paradin' while being paid by white men to inflict the same treatment to black women.

I think articles like this prove the necessity of black men being in the position when it comes to our women. See, black men are low hanging fruit that's why it's so easy for people to blame black men for virtually anything uncontested. The less power black men have, the more people seem to bytch about black men being this and that when in truth our stereotype has always been that we're the less picky of men. Other races come here when they want to lower their standards. Black men give black women far too much freedom/credit. It's like we're not entitled to demand or expect anything. That's why you got heifers writing pieces like these, she wants "big boned" to be the new standard. No thank you Ma'am. I'd rather be the patriarchal tyrant who gets respect than a non-patriarchal partner who gets disrespected.

I'm gonna put it out here: A lot of black men aren't living/thinking in reality and in turn, a lot of women aren't as well.

Most of the images posted on here are fake/airbrushed like shyt, but somehow nikkas still find themselves oogling and goin' crazy over these chicks.

Also, attacking this woman's appearance doesn't change reality. All up and down my TL during the VS fashion show, I saw a bunch of nikkas going ham about how those models looked sicked and needed more ass and titties, when in reality they looked bad as hell.

The media and other mediums have distorted our concept of what's attractive.....Can't agree with you more on this

I ain't naming names, but look around you'll bump into some. :mjpls:

White men do set the beauty standard breh, when did big asses become popular in the media? When a non-black bytch had one. As long as something uniquely black is white washed, it's all good.

Yeah. I don't like how the author tries to paint it as "black men" or whatever. I enjoy the skinny, in shape joints. BUt I can't deny that there are a lot of rap videos and movies that fetishize black women's natural features.

Change my post up all you want, but I bet you wouldn't want your sister/daughter runnin' around your house talkin' about her booty ain't big enough to attract her male counterparts and that she needs some ass implants or lookin' like a dumb ass doin' squats all the time with no results.

That's on us to fix though :ehh:

As men, our goal should be to put ourselves in that leadership position and our women would have no choice but to respect us. Far too many of us want respect when we're not respectable. And there's a sizable portion of us who just want to complain about what women are doing instead of being men and leading.

At the end of the day though, as a black man myself, I blame me for the shyt I see wrong in my community, cause I'm not doing what I believe needs to be done to fix it.
