Seriously? As a brazilian woman, I think that the real point of this article (which goes on and on and on forever) is aimed at the hyper-sexual stereotypes faced by the women in my country. Foreigners seem to think we're inherently more promiscuous, with bigger butts than average and just more casual about sex, among other things. The thing is, stereotypes are just that, stereotypes. And her point (which is all in caps) is that she's tired of people assuming stuff about them given the diversity among brazilian women.

You'll find professional prostitutes, OF COURSE. You may even find higher rates of prostitution here than elsewhere, but her point is that she's some pseudo-intellectual educated woman who gets terribly offended when she has to face these sorts of assumptions about her sexuality. She might as well have said ''tl;dr: we're not all classless sluts''.

Now I won't get into the race question. I don't feel comfortable enough to because I don't look black (even though half of my family would be considered black on sight, including my pops, but when the black blood is so diluted like that, marriage with a pale green-eyed woman pretty much ensured I would look like a snow bunny) so I'd never get approached by people who're after afro-brazilians specifically and I enjoy a lot of white privilege myself.
