it's actually 7-8%
Yeah, apparently it's somewhere between 7 to 8% . I was just going off the numbers here.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/news/2009/11/091102_brazil_black_ap.shtmlBut rather than any real increase in population sociologists are attributing this to a growing number of people who are categorising themselves as black and mixed race when they fill in the census form.
Although the birthrates of blacks and pardos -- the Brazilian term for mestizos, or people of mixed European and Native American heritage -- remain higher than for whites, experts don't cite that as the reason for the shift. Instead, they say that more Brazilians than ever are self-identifying as black or pardo, whereas in the past they would have checked off the box for "white."

It's increasing by the year -

Anyone that has visited Brazil knows it's much higher than 7-8% though, especially in the Northeast![]()

This shyt hilarious, I've been to Cuba and the locals, hotel resort staff were speaking spanish to me thinking I was Cuban, in a sea of white European/Canadian tourists. I actually surprised at the number of Black people there. As for Sex Tourism, I saw an older white man with a black Cuban girl with basketball sized t*ts.
Time to stop. @MikeBrownsJob is a fukking idiot and should consider visiting these countries for once. This why outside of America nobody respects ya'll because you look at the world from a racist American perspective.
There are lots of black people in Cuba, usually at the bottom of society, but nobody is talking about Cuba.
Interesting. We'll see how this develops. But my eyes glaze over when I see dudes arguing some black shyt over a chick that looks like a dark Mexican
I know what nikka women look like![]()

"nikka we just brazilian", I'm like yea I know but who in your family is black, grandma? great grandma? they're like "
wtf does it matter?" its weird because they're all some type of mixture, you can see it, but they don't talk about it. It's not like black folks in america that wanna claim "im part indian" or "team light skin", they just don't really talk about color like that over there, everyone is just .......BRAZILIAN. That's it. That's actually a very small number from southern tip of brazil tho, mostly Curibita, they're recent immigrants. Brazil going from north to south, goes from dark to light. But the recent immigrants have since mixed with the admixed whites, so they're not pure either LOL.LOL most of the White Brazilians can't even go back 2 /3 generations before they end up somewhere in Eastern Block or Southern Europe
Jessie Rogers and Giselle Bundchen aint no damn Brazilians![]()
That's great, there are a lot more Black people in Brazil.

This.
I had to catch myself doing this when I first went to Brazil. I kept trying to categorize people, asking them what they were mixed with. They started looking at me like"nikka we just brazilian", I'm like yea I know but who in your family is black, grandma? great grandma? they're like "

It's funny to see the census, and there's a documentary where the brazilian govt is trying to get more blacks from the north to attend elite schools, so they're giving out scholarships and position in the govt, and the people lining up have curly blonde hair and green eyes. shyts all kinda fukked up over there. but I sort of like it, it reminds me of the future to where you get so mixed, you can't really categorize anymore.
I figure at the rate we're going we're about 2-3 generations behind Brazil. (their slavery started in the 1500s)
