This is comedy, this is a case of super over analysis...
Its this simple, when you get into a battle, drop good diss tracks. Meek's problem is strictly he dropped a dud. All the memes, popularity contest stuff, who has more 'facts' etc are for the most part ancillary. I am in no way discounting that yes he is getting clowned, or wether he has 'facts' about ghostwriting, or wether ghostwriting 'matters'. this is all valid sideshow stuff. However ultimately...
In a Universe where Meek 'Wanna Know' was a good diss record.... Meek would be alright...
In a Universe where Meek never replied and was just tweeted out 'Why would I respond to this frauds no name ghostwriters?' Drake would be looking like an obsessive stalker dropping a diss the day after a twitter comment, then getting negged as it being wack, then dropping another diss a couple days later, then dropping a concert dedicated to clowning him with internet memes a couple days later... Drakes fans woulda enjoyed it, a few of meeks fans woulda been annoyed not to see him respond... and two weeks later the internet woulda gone back to 'Drakes the type of nikka to... ' jokes
However we are in a Universe where Meek responded with a blah 'Teaser' track... nothing else as far as strategy etc really matters when you are putting out bad songs...
All this 'timely' response nonsense, popularity nonsense, etc is all besides the point...
