Sure, its likely to fail, but couple of points

  • Can they do Hegseth first, FFS he is in charge of way more deadly shyt that can impact us globally?
  • Could this be the beginning of the end for a trump administration and extend his lame duck status? He cant possibly run again, and we can for sure do without his unqualified toadies running important shyt.
  • Could this lead to some kind of investigation into what was an OBVIOUS and CORRUPT quid-pro quo, him ending his campaign to help trump, trump then giving him this post

  • Can they do Hegseth first, FFS he is in charge of way more deadly shyt that can impact us globally?-- that won't happen especially because no country america messes with actually has the capacity to fight back. If Venezuela was bombing American vessels in its own waters, drones would already be en route to retaliate. The one country that would actually be a problem is China and hegseth is at least lucid enough to know that angering them also means angering trump. Only trump can act aggressive towards china, nobody else is allowed to say shyt unless he approves that.
  • Could this be the beginning of the end for a trump administration and extend his lame duck status? He cant possibly run again, and we can for sure do without his unqualified toadies running important shyt.--I dont know what to tell you if you genuinely believe trump does not intend on staying in office until he dies. He has destroyed a part of the white house to create a massive ballroom and is following project 25 to a tee(halfway complete by the way) and impeachment really only amounts to a historical record showing that the government was not unified with a sitting official(see trumps impeachment hearings in his first term)
  • Could this lead to some kind of investigation into what was an OBVIOUS and CORRUPT quid-pro quo, him ending his campaign to help trump, trump then giving him this post--Nope, because they will want to do something similar in the future and setting a precedent here would stop them from doing that.

Unless the Trump administration makes hard pivot on how they execute, part of me thinks Trump might have a few high profile firings before the midterms. He has to. He has a bunch of visibly incompetent people not to mention him, surrounding him.

If she does she'll be the exception and it'll only be because her and Trump fell out recently...not because she thinks they actually did anything wrong.
