Yeah, most of them are, but some are really about that life. Look up Varg Vikernes. He burnt down churches for real, murdered a band mate, gave a big ass smile when he was sentenced for murder and church burning, became a Nazi in jail, and is just an all around scary guy

Actually not. Filosem by Varg is a certified classic. And a lot of Black and Death Metal is really good too (though it’s an acquired taste). Metal is the epitome of hard.
