the problem isnt rappers, it's the damn consumers. if a rapper tells you they have 283 songs in the can, and they're all great, at what point do you call bullshyt? Rappers tell such monumental lies it's self-defeating to talk about writing rhymes.

I mean, there have been rappers who could just go off the dome (like really) and can get away with it, but it's too many trying to follow that blueprint that don't have the skill. Like, really, what's wrong with sitting down and putting pen to pad and doing shyt that requires thought? Most of the dudes that claim to not write cannot freestyle above a 4th grade level, yet they don't write their shyt as if they're some kinds of literary savants.
