I was a big fan of Kanye’s music during his first 3 album run. Unfortunate how his life turned out. I’ll still always have those first three in my music library though. I Started losing interests around the twisted fantasy album.
Yea, Ye’s first three albums were it for me. Lost interest after that.

I was a big Eminem fan from Spring/Summer 1998 to 2002. I even bought the slim Shady LP on CD the week it came out. A college radio station was playing his freestyles on their indie/underground hip-hop radio show and was playing "Just Don't Give a F*ck" heavy (I knew the words and still do). I recorded it on tape and played it for friends in High School before MTV even played "My Name Is". MMLP was dope.
Then 8 Mile came out and everybody was on his jock. And I stopped caring after Encore and Eminem Show.
Same exact story. I discovered Eminem on Hiphhopinfinity audio section in 98 before he signed with Dre. Recorded all the real player audio freestyles and songs from Slim shady EP to cassette tape (buffering and all). Played it for my friends the next day in HS and was clowned heavy by everyone for listening to a white rapper.

A year later them same nikkas was walking up and down the hall "My name is....my name is..." dikk riding ass nikkas.

Ye is still in the sunken place. And no this site didn’t get me to turn on Chloe, her music did. None of the singles she’s dropped have been good. I want to see talent that doesn’t heavily fall her half naked, twerking and her trying to be the next Beyoncé. She’s trying so hard to force that image and isn’t authentic to her. Quite frankly she always looks uncomfortable. I think she should be her authentic self and make music that showcases her talent.
Her last single was pretty good imo

Justin Timberlake. :snoop:

I used to hate that cac around the time all the white boy bands dropped in the late 90s. I was the one always talking trash about them and I would give them no credit on nothing and I would even clown other black ppl who listened to them.

Until them white boys from Nsync dropped "It's gonna be me" :ohhh:

That song and the music video with the puppet strings pulled me all the way in, brehs. I was an Nsync fan and at first, I hid it.

I was too ashamed to go back around all the ppl who I was clowning and tell them they were right, these white boys was cold.

But when they dropped that album the next year with Girlfriend and Gone, nicca I was :ohlawd:

I was clowning ppl for NOT listening to them blue eyed soul brothas :pachaha:

And then a couple years later when that cac dropped Justified, I was :banderas:

I was even a part of the crowd who was like :lupe: I don't think he is, but maybe he IS gonna be bigger than Usher one day. (I'm really embarrassed about that cause I've been an Usher super fan since My Way :snoop:)

Even when that cac snatched Janet's titty out her bra at the super bowl, I was still a fan. :snoop:

I did admittedly become lowkey with it but when nobody was around, I was bumping Rock Your Body and Senorita like :whew::ohlawd:

The ONLY thing that turned me off dude was that Sexyback song. I hated that song with a passion. I was like :what::scusthov: when that came out.

And then after that, I just stopped checking for him.

When he dropped that Man of the Woods song some years later, I was like:snoop: cause I couldn't believe i ever supported such a corny cac.

Yeah, Timberlake lost me. Dude was sneak dissing Prince while he was alive but after Prince passed away, JT tried to act like they were always boys.

In retrospect it was also super messed up how he never spoke up for Janet after the Super Bowl incident. Dude’s a culture vulture IMO.

Those neptunes beats had me fooled for a minute though.

I was a big Justin Timberlake fan too... but after the Super Bowl debacle with Janet Jackson and him not apologizing for years (as well as him slandering Prince) I couldn't view him the same way.

Justin Timberlake is stirring up all kinds of controversy lately. He has been slammed for working with Woody Allen on a film and there have been some wildly differing views on his new Man of the Woods album. There has also been upset over his album release and listening party at Prince’s Minneapolis estate, Paisley Park.

It wasn’t just the location that Prince fans were upset about, it was the fact that JT would be serving alcohol at his party. Prince was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and abstained from drinking. Many felt it was disrespectful of Timberlake to have people drinking at Prince’s estate.

The party was revealed earlier this month and Prince fans were quick to point out on social media that Timberlake has dissed Prince in the past on Timbaland’s 2007 song, “Give It To Me.”

In the song, Justin sang, “We missed you on the charts last week/ Damn, that’s right you wasn’t there/ Now if se-sexy never left, then why is everybody on my s**t/ Don’t hate on me just because you didn’t come up with it.”

The lyrics are in reference to Timberlake’s 2006 song “SexyBack.” That song topped the charts though it was initially panned by music critics. It was also a dig at Prince who made a harmless comment about Justin’s song during a performance at a post-Emmy Awards party in 2006.

Prince was reported to have said, “For whoever is claiming they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!”

Then, in January 2007, Timberlake gave the award for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes. Prince was the winner for his track “Song of the Heart” from the animated movie Happy Feet. He wasn’t able to get up on stage to accept the award because he was stuck in traffic at the time.

Timberlake accepted the award on his behalf and made fun of Prince’s short stature.

Joe Jackson is still mad at Justin Timberlake

This may have all happened a decade ago but Prince fans never forget and they have been sharing their displeasure of Justin Timberlake all over Twitter as JT gets ready for his halftime show at the Super Bowl.

At the official Pepsi Halftime Show press conference, Justin was asked about his listening party and he said that he considered Paisley Park a sacred place. He was not asked about the backlash he has received from fans or his past Prince lyrics.
