As a black man do you feel the need to be hyper-masculine?

I used to, but not anymore once I was old enough to realize how dumb and harmful hyper-masculinity is.

Truth is they call black man "hypermasculine" because in comparison to the white man, we are hypermasculine. But that has to do with the fact that white men happen to be very feminine and instead of calling it that, they use the term "hypermasculine" to label black people when in fact, we are just masculine enough.

Anything to avoid adding a negative stereotype to white men. Instead of figuring out whats wrong with them and why they are so feminine, lets just make it seem like black men are the ones that have the issue.

Maybe in high school, not now.

I have noticed when you dont give off that certain type of vibe around certain whites they feel more comfortable testing/ pushing limits instead of just being cool.
