They are both equally strong in my opinion...

After listening to the original sample, I have to say DJ Unik did his damn thang on that album...

He created MUSIC...Not just random loops...

Dude needs to listen to his old music, and relearn how to make that kind of music...

The original probably is 'better', but when the remix came out in 1996, the original was forgotten so...

:yeshrug: The original was 100% better than the remix. I can't even stomach to listen to the remix no more

Is this legit or just strangely coincidental? I used to love Eternal Champions btw but damn that sounds amazing, just blew my mind

I used to play the hell out of Eternal Champions and Bone samples that game a few times especially at the first of the track Eternal they sample the music from the part of the game where u look at the player bios

The World, but from BK
The original fit the album waaaaaaay better. I got both versions of the album. The remix totally fuks up the flow of the album..they shoulda at least put Tre(the chiks singing at the start) on the album with the remix.

As a matter fact, just thinking back. Bone did goodwith Mo Thugs 1 and 2...I never fuked with 3. But 2 was the dopest. I think ima throw that album on my ipod tonight.

There's a few versions of E. 1999. Some of them have the remix at the end of the album, which is where it should be to keep the flow and tone of the album correct, but the more common version stuck it in place of the original. Like Mike Ock said, it messes up the flow.

I wish they had released a version with Tre singing as well.

The original is also on the single and The Collection - Volume One.

There is another version of the remix that features Flesh on it and some different lyrics in places. It's not as focused as the hit remix. The quality on this one is pretty bad, I have a better version on a disc.
