As a Bullets fan, I admit now Brad Beal is TRASH

Is Beal a trash player with his 2021-22 BS?

Can’t shoot 3s

Can’t take care of the ball. Dude is dribbling the ball off his foot. Throwing terrible passes to Gafford.

Can’t play both defense and offense at same time

I’m good with trade packages before the deadline for this nikka before the 10 year veteran max of 5 years $235M.

He will NEVER lead a team to anything. Fukk this!

:camby:
What would you need from GSW to make a trade happen?

kuminga and poole off limits

I never understood why Beal was so highly regarded in the first place. He's never been good enough to make Washington anything other than a lottery / fringe playoff team, but he is making top 10 money in the league. So you going to do what, trade for him to be your 2nd or 3rd best player but pay him like he a top 10 player in the league?

I been telling you all this for years.

He ain’t an A-1 player. Giving him the supermax would set this franchise back.

I been open to trading dude.

Tommy is too emotionally invested in Brad. As is Leonsis.

Troy Hailburton's thread shows the naked opportunism of the Beal camp. They want and will get the 10 year veteran max and then try to force out in the first part of the deal. Quinton Mayo being the main stenographer who has no credibility in covering Brad and also has been trying to buddy buddy up with Dinwiddie who looks like he's 40 years old all of a sudden.

Look at Coach Pop, he loves him some Bradley Beal. That sentiment is shared across the NBA. Which for the Wizards is great. You just need one of these executives to be all "we need this great guy in the locker room to be our missing piece!" as long as he's healthy, they won't care too much about the salary. Then when he gets traded and is in a more visible situation, his value will tank as he's dribbling the ball off his foot and turning it over in the clutch. He's 2nd in the NBA in turnovers in the clutch... behind Westbrook! And to think we had both of them at the same time :russ:

I won’t pretend I watch Wizard games and come with some fake know it all knowledge but does Bradley Beal really want out? And is he really just coasting to avoid injury? I never heard this type of mentality attributed to Beal before. He just seems way too talented for this.

He has never said he wants out. He plays coy with the press on his future but he's had every opportunity to ask for a trade and hasn't. Even when he was playing with legitimate G-Leaguers during the 2019-2020 season and part of last season. Ted Leonsis and Tommy Sheppard have given him so much power in the organization, its ridiculous.

And yes, he's coasting in a lot of games. Part of this is all the new teammates and he has no idea what to do not knowing their styles. The other part is Wes Unseld Jr. is trying to implement a SYSTEM. Guys like Beal and Dinwiddie are thinking rather than reading and reacting. They are so used to playing in isolation or schemes where you do one action and go. Unseld is trying to bring the type of ball the Nuggets have been running for years and its been a disaster so far. So he's had to dumb down things.
