As A GM would you take kobe no 1 over duncan?

Speaking from a GM perspective, if you have the no 1 pick in the draft would you take kobe over duncan? I would not. Duncan is a better player and better team mate in my opinion, he would not demand a trade like kobe bryant did or ask to be paid the max when his value of production might not warrant it.

Depends on the Era. If this is 98 I gotta go Duncan. If this is 2018. I really gotta consider going kobe, an explosive scoring guard in this pace and space era? Kobe’s gonna be more effective

I go with the rarer find, which is Duncan. Much easier to find an explosive wing scoring shooting guard than it is finding a skillful big man who plays both sides of the court.

No. Duncan is more efficent and I trust him to put the team first moreso than kobe. Kobe flat out lost shaq a ring because he wanted to ball hog and he would have cost pau another one if boston could have pulled it off in 2010. Kobe like any chucker is an overrated commodity to me. -Tony Parker and Ginobli (best teammates ever)
-Kawhi (man capable of shutting down GS)

So kobes career high ppg is 10 points higher than duncans.

Not to mention all of kobes top 10 scoring seasons (ppg) are higher than Duncans ONE season with 25.5ppg

but he did damn near leave to go to Orlando only a year after he won a title with SA......but hey i guess every GM would love to draft a guy who wants to leave only a few years later, right after winning a title.....
