I ain't sayin wu-tang aren't legendary. But the west coast wasn't really bumpin the Wu like that. But we were definitley supportin Bone thugs tho. I think it just came down to the type of production being the factor. Smoother, laid back beats , the harmonizing couple with the fact that they had the Eazy E cosign helped a lot too. I have always supported Bone thugs more than the Wu![]()
The Wu had a fan base in Northern Cali - but on the whole you're probably right.
With Bone its more than just "fast rap".. the multisyllabes, combined with the harmonizing and tongue twisting is what makes bone unique and why motherfukkers till this day like Drake, Future, Ludicrous stay emulating some form of their style.. aint nobody trying to imitate wu tang in this day and age
